We do have a couple pics from the flotilla. It was brief, but kinda cool. I wish I had had a camera out at 5am this morning with night vision on it. Either the Corp of Engineers or the local dredge boats had their own “mini flotilla”. It looked like the Corp “Dormitory” boat being pushed by a huge dredge boat, following by 3 more barges with heavy equipment on them. They all appeared to be connected. It was by far the longest thing I have ever seen go down the waterway.

My husband and I stopped in and bought half a dozen cupcakes. So far we have had the Key Lime and the Strawberry- BOTH WERE AMAZING!!! Great addition to Holden Beach!

Great place! We stayed in Holdens Beach for a week and waited to eat here last. The nachos were excellent and the fried grouper put Calabash to shame. Ask for Ruby to be your waitress.

We were on vacation at Holden Beach and needed to celebrate my son’s 8th birthday. I found this bakery while searching online. Bought a few cupcakes (lemon, keylime and red velvet) to try and they were AWESOME so I ordered the birthday cake a couple days later and it was perfect! Not a crumb was wasted! Thank you Salt Aire!
